How’s the interior  Although there are several ways to access most functions, everything is controlled by the same central knob. You are capable of keeping your focus on the road because it is simple to use.

The Accord's interior features a contemporary style, high-quality soft-touch materials, ample space, and an intuitive multimedia system and control layout.

The optional navigation system from Mazda works well with voice commands and the controller knob, although other features—like menu-based zooming in map mode—are difficult to understand.

The 60/40 split back seats can be folded, but the only openings are found in the trunk. There is adequate inside storage for minor items.

We put the optional turbocharged engine in the 6 to the test. The EPA estimates that a 6-equipped vehicle will achieve 26 mpg in combination city/highway driving.

The base engine and EPA rating of 32-33 mpg together are very good for a midsize vehicle. But on our evaluation route, we were only able to average 28.5 mpg.
